The three new polyps opened up almost immediately. The two larger polyps took a little longer, but they are all looking healthier today. Now if I can just keep them that way....

They seem to be in a good spot, keep them there unless you start seeing any more problems. Hopefully they will settle in and start growing more.

That's the plan for now.
No trees were harmed in the writing of this post. However, several electrons were GREATLY inconvenienced.

Now I got that old song "flying purple people eaters" in my head.Image

edit:::::::::::::Well I saw the thing coming out of the sky
It had one long horn and one big eye
I commenced to shakin' and I said oo-wee
It looks like a purple people eater to me
It was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater
Sure looks good to me

Well, he came down to earth and he lit in a tree
I said mr Purple People Eater don't eat me
I heard him say in a voice so gruff
I wouldn't eat you 'cos you're too tough
It was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater

I had to go get part of the lyrics:) now is it stuck in your head?????Image

Thanks lin... now it stuck in my head too. Now I'll never get to sleep. ;)

Anyway, the PPEs are definitely doing better now. All five polyps are opening regularly and the new polyps are growing larger fairly rapidly. I hope this trend continues.

The PPEs are now officially "recovered." I've fragged them yesterday and passed three polyps on to a local reefer as part of our Pay it Forward Frag Program. One frag down, one to go. :)

Now I just have to get my other PE colonies to recover. I've moved the sickly colonies to the same place the PPEs are living, so hopefully they will recover as well. Time will tell.
