Hello,
Most online users call me MOA (Math-Only Aquarium) and I have been working on a project for a number of years regarding the dynamics of stocking aquariums. As most of us aquarists know, stocking an aquarium requires many considerations, but many of the common stocking guidelines fail to represent even a small fraction of the factors that go into making a successful aquarium. For instance, many new aquarists learn the inch-per-gallon rule and begin to stock their tanks by it. Some of them do fine; the ones with the 10-inch Oscar in the 10-gallon aquarium are in for a shock. Since the common guides are not very specific and new aquarists tend to avoid doing extensive research, I have developed a device that incorporates many of the important factors that affect stocking capacity: FishsheetA6, a spreadsheet file available at the following website (second page):

The reason why I am posting this information is that I would appreciate some feedback from my fellow aquarists on its functionality. I appreciate all comments and suggestions, but please bear in mind that this device is for new aquarists and thus is not meant to cover breeding tanks or advanced designs. Please let me know what you guys think.
Cheers,
MOA
