Yeah, the Purple is a very large/mature specimen and he's a bruiser which is funny becasue purple firefish are supposed to be "peaceful" fish (looks like I got the throw back). He rules the tank now that the tang is gone. When there were three large fish things were smooth, now there are only two and the blanace is off.

Give them a day or three. Some fish need time and space.

Sweet pick ups! Dwarf Angels are great! I love my Atlantic Pygmy Angel.

I agree that they should have more than enough room in your 180g tank. Give them a week or two to settle in. Post up some pics asap too! I don't see many Keyhole angels out my way.

Update: They are becoming a bit more "UN-Reclusive" the Coral Beauty more so than the Key hole but.... Still cant snap a picture. They are active and continuously picking at the rocks so I think that they'll be good. They found homes on opposite sides of the tank so battles over territory are a thing of the past.

Now the Keyhole is being a bit less shy.... But still "swims for cover" when I approach the tank... I'll just have to give them a bit more time to adjust.

That's awesome. I think the "main" reason we've always kept multiple angels in a tank without excessive aggression has been the size and using the liverock to create lots of tunnels while at the same time making it hard for fish to see one another (breaking up line of sight, even smarter fish seem to have a bit of "out of sight, out of mind" mentality!)

Looking forward to some pics :)
