bio blocks

Postby twood63 » 26 Jan 2009, 18:10

Has anyone else tried the bio blocks advertised on the fish channel. i have had mine for almost a month. I thought my tanks were clear before trying them but I have to admit now its like they are flying instead of swimming because the tank is so clear. I am just curious to see if anyone else has had the same outcome. I have stopped using carbon and am just using floss in my HOB's and there is no smell at all.

I have not used them before. I believe they should work as described, the only problem I would have is I would be worried they would clog much faster than the typical filter floss. Now that my plants are gone I would be game in trying them.
